Welcome to Everlasting Sage Co.!
My Story
Hi, I’m Donna-Rae, the designer behind Everlasting Sage Co.
Growing up, creativity has always been at the heart of my life. I’ve explored art in many forms—from acrylic painting and watercolor to photography, graphic design, and animation. Over time, I found myself especially drawn to pencil and paint, where strong, clean lines and fine detail bring each piece to life. For me, quality has always mattered most.
Along my journey, I’ve been grateful to have my work recognized, with pieces selected for publication in both high school and college. Today, my art is still occasionally shared within my community—each experience continuing to shape my confidence and identity as an artist. My style is often referred to as “Flower Power,” a name that reflects both my art and the way I show up in my everyday style.
My grandmothers have been a meaningful source of inspiration in my creative journey—one through painting, the other through sewing, crocheting, and traditional quilting. Through them, and the generations before me, I learned the value of creating with intention—making the most of what you have, and finding beauty in the process itself.
One of my most meaningful pieces reflects that influence: a handmade braided rug crafted from my grandfather’s old flannel shirts, created alongside my grandmother. It was later selected for display at the state fair—a piece filled with memory, love, and family history.
In my professional life, I am a Registered Nurse, where I see firsthand how art, science, and medicine intertwine. This balance of precision, creativity, and care influences how I approach both my work in healthcare and my art.
Over time, I found myself wanting to reconnect with my creative side—to return to the part of me that finds joy, meaning, and expression through art.
Today, Everlasting Sage Co. brings together traditional craftsmanship and modern creativity—blending time-honored techniques with new tools to design thoughtful and meaningful gifts and products.
More importantly, I hope to show my children that it’s okay to slow down, to embrace a more intentional, home-centered life, and to find comfort and expression through creativity in this fast-paced and overstimulating world.
At the heart of everything I make is a simple belief: the most meaningful things in life are personal—and the process of creating them holds just as much value as the final product.
Each piece has a story.
